Professionalism

All of the managers at The Summit are board certified as a CMCA or better.
CMCA Designees Represent Excellence

  • Knowledge. CMCAs have successfully completed comprehensive coursework on
community association management and passed the exam administered by the Community Association Managers International Certification Board. CMCAs update their knowledge regularly by participating in professional development education programs.
  • Experience. CMCAs are required to work in the community association management profession to maintain their certification.
  • Integrity. CMCAs commit to upholding the highest ethical standards by abiding by the CMCA Standards of Professional Conduct.

The Board conducts interviews and selects the CAM Representative deemed most suitable for their requirements. The CAM Representative signs the Management Agreement. Any future substitutions require prior approval from the Board.

Security

In a world filled with data breaches and information leaks, we’re doing everything we can to safeguard homeowners’ and vendors’ sensitive information. Our technology platforms and internal processes comply with SOC 2 security standards. SOC 2 is a voluntary compliance standard for service organizations, developed by the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA), which specifies how organizations should manage customer data. The standard is based on the following criteria: security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, privacy. The Summit adheres to written controls that embody these principles of trust.

Our internal controls are reviewed by a forensic accountant.  The review  attests that the integrated framework of policies, processes, and controls mitigate the risk of fraud by an individual (or individuals) either internal or external to the organization to an acceptable level.

Communication

Communities are built around shared interest and communication. Our quarterly newsletters give leadership a chance to direct the conversation and keep neighbors in the loop about what is happening within the community.

Our homeowner portal and app keep board members and homeowners informed and in control. Homeowners can manage payments, communications, ARC requests and work orders on any screen at any time.

Board members have full visibility into details of ARC requests, violations, and delinquencies through the board-only section of the portal.
